Marykkundoru Kunjadu Videos

Marykkundru Kunjadu - Dileep in another role of promise
Dileep had been an exceptional whenever he played some characters which were much different from the regulars. Like his characters in ‘Chandhupottu’ or ‘Kunjikoonan’, Dileep is once again getting into a similar mould of a character with the new movie ‘Marykkundru Kunjadu’ (Mary has a little lamb) planned for this Christmas. Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, the movie is directed by hit maker Shafi.
The young star will play the role of Solomon in the movie, who is known by the nickname ‘Kunjaadu’ (Lamb). Set in a remote hilly village where the majority are Christians, Solomon is the son of the local priest and is brought up in a similar fashion as a simple soul. He is a very silent personality, who fears everything around him, and hence the name ‘Kunjaadu’.
The movie will have two Mary-s in its character list. The first is Mary, the mother of Solomon. The other Mary is played by Bhavana, who is the only daughter of a rich landlord Ittichan. She is in love with Solomon right from their childhood days. But Ittichan doesn’t like the relationship as he has a sober lover story to tell. That is about his old relation with Solomon’s mother Mary, which never got fulfilled. But with the arrival of a strong man with a harsh look into the company of Solomon, our silent soul changes gears suddenly and starts to makes a towering presence in the village.
‘Marykkundru Kunjadu’ produced by Vaisakha Cinema, will have lyrics by Anil Panachooran, while Berny-Ignatius set the tunes. Cinematographed is by Shyam Dutt.

Vijay's Kavalan Official Trailor

Kavalan Preview

‘Kavalan’ is the forthcoming movie of Vijay which has a lot of things at stake. It is the 51st film of Vijay. After a fairly long poor run at the box office Vijay is expecting a lot out of this film. The heroine Asin is also praying for acceptance after her escapades in Sri Lanka has not gone down well with the Tamil community across the world.
‘Kavalan’ is the remake of the Malayalam film ‘Bodyguard’ and has nothing to do with the Kevin Costner film. The film was announced first with the title ‘Kaaval Karan’ and when Sathya Movies, the producer of the MGR super hit objected the title was changed to ‘Kaaval Kadhal’. But the changed title was not liked by Vijay fans and finally the film got the name ‘Kavalan’.
The film is about the strange fascination of a guy who worships anyone with a trace of heroism. He one comes across a reformed liquor mogul and now leading businessman and finds him to be his hero. He then joins him as the bodyguard to protect his beautiful daughter.
The body guard and the beautiful daughter fall in love without knowing to each other and later separate without wanting to. What happened to their love and after is the story. The first half is expected to be a hilarious entertainer while the story tales a serious turn in the second half and the climax will be a shocker.
In the original version the lead characters were played by Dileep, Nayantara, Mithra Kurian and Thiyagarajan. In Tamil the roles are played by Vijay, Asin, Mithra Kurian and Raj Kiran. Vadivelu is for comedy and Roja returns playing the wife of Raj Kiran. In fact Asin was first approached even for the Malayalam film. As she was busy with her Bollywood assignment Nayantara stepped in.
Livingston. MS Baskar, Delhi Ganesh, Nizhalgal Ravi are also in the cast. Music director is Vidyasagar and the film has six songs. Cinematography N K Ekambaram and Editing is by Gowri Shankar. The film is being made at a cost or Rs. 38 crores according to sources.
The Malayalam original was released in January this year and the Tamil version was up and going from April onwards. The first schedule happened in Kumbakonam. The whole movie was shot in places like Karaikudi, Kumbakonam and Vellore. Overseas shootings were done in Malaysia, Bangkok and Europe. This will be the second film in the combination of Siddique and Vijay. The first one was the ‘Friends’. Vijay and Asin come together after ‘Sivakasi’ and ‘Pokkiri’. All these combination films have been block busters and so the hype is already there.
But the film was in news for most times for reasons which were not production related. First then were precarious confusions over title. Then a controversy broke over the Tamil remake rights of the Malayalam film.
One Johnny Sagarikaa, a producer who had earlier obtained the remake rights of ‘Bodyguard’ in Tamil and other languages, reportedly mortgaged the remake rights to Gokulam Chit Funds for a financial loan. After knowing the Siddique is remaking his film in Tamil Johnny approached the Nadigar Sangam and the case in with them.
Then during the shooting in Karaikudi, Asin reportedly fainted allegedly due to a strange gas leak inside her caravan. Later they said it was due to a fault in the air-conditioner.
But the biggest controversy that is even threatening the release and then survival of the film was that Asin’s visit to Sri Lanka. When all the industry associations like TFPC, FEFSI, Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners and Distributors associations and SIFCC had requested the Indian film industry to boycott Sri Lanka for business as the country is standing trial for genocide of Tamils and human rights violations. But Asin went ahead and shot for her Hindi film with Salman Khan. She said she is under the contract of the producer and she has no power in deciding shooting locations.
Had she quietly done the shooting and come back things wouldn’t have gone this bad. Asin stayed back in Sri Lanka even after the shooting and travelled to places which were devastated by war, and banned for most of the world media and NGOs in with President Mahinda Rajapaksha’s wife Shiranthi and behaved like a government sponsored ambassador. This has angered the SIFCC and they have called for a ban of ‘Kavalan’ and subsequently on Asin.
Another recent development is that the producer-director Shakthi Chidambaram has acquired the film. When the distributors of Vijay’s earlier films have refused to back up ‘Kavalan’ and are demanding hefty compensation from Vijay saying his recent movies has put them in debt trap, the move of Shakthi Chidambaram is being considered a bold act by many. ‘Kavalan’ is produced by C Ramesh Babu under the banner of Eka Veera Creations.
‘Kavalan’ is all set to redefine the fate of almost all the people related to it. When the film releases in December many provoking questions would have found answers....

Fashion Trends

Latest Trends in Men's Fashion

Fashion trends today keep changing every season. And so you are here to read this article. Well probably this article is not to discuss the latest from Armani or Gabbana. The trends keep changing anyway. There are a few trends that haven't changed for quite some time and thus are the latest. Have you ever considered them?
There are trends that have been set and we still follow them. Every one does that too - even the wildest of the designers. Have your ever seen a designer use only one shoe for his/her model, or probably half a necklace? Or why don't you ask them to give only one sock while you wear two shoes? These trends have been set and it will take ages to get out of this mind set too.
There have been the things that stay and stay. We generally sport them, but kind of ignore them.

Tried and Tested Methods

There are tried and tested methods and we will not do that. Even for the sake of looking different we wouldn't do that.
All in all, what I want to say is simple: Our trends depend not just on the kind of social circle that we have, but even on the environment we live on, the climates, the feel and more importantly how happy we are when wearing something.
From the simple polo shirts, T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, jeans to suits and khakis, they are all there in our wardrobes. The trends, the latest fashions may only add a few jazzy colors, few logos and few statements. The trends change, but the base always remains.
Some trends that appeal to any man:
  • Military wear: You got it into your mind as soon as you read it. The extra pockets, and the manly feel they add is far above any competition from other kind of looks. Khakis, jackets, caps are the in things. Add white and black to them and you will feel the difference right away.
  • Polo Shirts: This tops the list of shirts. Wear a polo shirt with a jeans, it is casuals. Add a nice coat, the corporate will invite you. And when you want to mix both formals and casuals, wear a zip-up jacket. Polo shirt will serve you, anywhere, anytime.
  • Layering: It's in at last. And is here to stay. Wear a sweat shirt, cover it up with a cool cotton with half sleeves. And then top it up with a jacket with no sleeves. And if possible add more. But it works, especially in winters and more so with the women around.
  • Logos: This is not a new style either. If you know you have enough money and don't know what to wear, then go the biggest and trendiest store that you find. Put your money and flaunt your logos. But make sure, you don't get too loud or too calm.
Use your creativity to mix up things to get what you want. And if you still haven't understood the trend today its all in one word 'Simplicity'. Keep it simple, Keep it strong. Way to go bro!

Latest Trends in Men's Fashion

In today's world, it is considered an interesting time for fashion. Today's fashion is now being inspired by the classic styles of yesteryear's designs and styles. This is further complimented by the insertion of sex appeal and diverse colours.
Many catalogues and magazines are dedicated to women's fashions. These display the latest trends and settings in which they can be used. Neon green, burnt orange and bright yellow are popular colours that are now emerging in fashion. There is also an emergence of patterns and prints in the designs. To fully compliment a stylish look, jewellery and nice footwear will help to complete an outfit.
Dresses have emerged as a leading fashion trend. They have multiple applications such as formal, semi-formal and informal. These dresses have gotten very bold with some very revealing styles. These dresses display just enough to still be acceptable for all occasions. Some of these dresses can be tailored to your specific curves, making it body hugging.
Accessories are a large part of women fashion. When dressing up, women like to wear large chains, studs and bags. In the past, shoes used to be the defining accessory on a woman. Pendants, cuffs and rings have taken over and it appears that the bigger, the better. This is one of the clearest indicators that style has evolved over the years.
Styles that you wear should be of your taste and not necessarily what is in style. It is necessary to be fashion conscious but it is even more important to be comfortable in what you are wearing and as an individual.
